Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is in talks with Rangers to become their next manager.
The 37-year-old former Reds’ skipper is being lined up for the vacant managerial position and if an agreement is reached, it means Gerrard could face-off against former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.
Despite having no managerial experience, the Scottish giants have held talks with Gerrard ahead of a possible appointment.
Gerrard attended last month’s Old Firm Derby while Rangers chairman Dave King was pictured at Anfield on Tuesday.
It has been mooted that a deal is said to be close but as yet there’s no official news.
