Ryan Sessegnon & Philipp Max – LATEST

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham. The 19-year-old left-back has previously been a target of Liverpool and continues to be linked with us, albeit weakly.

It is believed that Tottenham are willing to offer around £20 million plus add-ons for Sessegnon who only has a year remaining on his contract.

Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Manchester United have made enquiries but Tottenham look to be favourites to land him following a breakthrough in transfer negotiations between both clubs. It is also widely believed that Sessegnon favours a move to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is in the market for a left-back to provide cover for Andy Robertson after Alberto Moreno left the club on a free transfer at the end of last season.

KOPTALK understands that Liverpool have made a formal approach to Augsburg regarding their 25-year-old defender Philipp Max. As yet there has been no formal bid tabled by the Reds. Reports suggest that an offer of around £18million would be enough to sign the German.

Max, who is under contract with Augsburg until 2022, has also been linked with Barcelona but they appear to favour other options at the present time meaning Liverpool have a real chance of making something happen should we step up to the table.
