Liverpool goalkeeper attracting interest

Simon Mignolet is attracting interest from a number of clubs including an unnamed Premier League outfit.

The Liverpool goalkeeper, who turned 29 yesterday, is looking for a new club after Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp made it clear that Loris Karius was now his No.1 ‘keeper.

KOPTALK sources reported in January that there was an offer on the table for him from an overseas club but it would have meant him having to take a significant reduction in his Anfield wages to make it happen which is probably why it didn’t.

Borussia Dortmund and Napoli have been linked with him but again, he won’t be in a rush to move on in the summer unless some kind of compromise is found in relation to his salary. We’re told he wants to leave but that he won’t be pushed out unless the deal is right for him.

An exit still looks nailed on but it may take a bit of work by his new agent Didier Frenay (Star Factory group) to broker a deal that works for Liverpool, any interested suitor and his client.
