Barcelona look at Philippe Coutinho alternatives

Barcelona are looking at alternatives for Philippe Coutinho, claim reports originating from Spain today.

The Catalan giants, who are currently being linked with Liverpool’s Ben Woodburn, have drawn up a list of alternatives should they fail to strike a deal with Anfield officials before next season.

It is claimed that Barcelona are looking at the likes of Schalke’s Max Meyer and Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt, two players that Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has previously been heavily linked with, should their attempts to land Coutinho fail.

Associates of the Brazilian insist that the player will continue to push for his dream transfer to the Nou Camp next year but for now he remains a Liverpool player and fortunately he’s putting a decent shift in when called upon.
