Barcelona considering Ben Woodburn transfer bid – REPORTS

There’s further reports linking Barcelona with Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn today.

Recent reports had stated that the Catalan giants were monitoring the youngster’s developments at Anfield and the latest suggestions now state that they are considering making an approach for the Wales international.

It’s claimed that Barcelona have been tracking Woodburn’s progress through the youth ranks at Liverpool for years and now that he’s started making an impact for club and country, they feel it may be the right time to step up with an offer before other clubs possibly try and test Liverpool’s resolve.

Having celebrated his 18th birthday earlier this week, Woodburn is to be rewarded with a new contract by the Reds despite only signing his first professional contract a year ago.

He’s certainly not available for transfer and we’d pay little attention to the speculative claims that are being made overseas.
