Yeh but kinda glad he didn't considering what happened next.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

If he would of played alongside Xabi Alonso in the final instead of Gerrard in that position we would not of been 3-0 down at half time...

So Igor Biscan was better than Gerrard according to you? It's getting better and better with you. Is there a prize for the best clown (world class clown) on the forum or should I do a poll?

is there a reason why you feel the need to insult just because you don't agree with a post, do you realise how it makes you look when you do this, I am going to ask you very nicely now to stop it and I will answer your post.
Firstly I did not mention Igor was better I said he came into the team when we were struggling and did a great job right up to the final and was very unlucky to get dropped. I thought Gerrard was a disgrace the first half in Istanbul he had is own agenda and lacked discipline a critism that has been thrown at him throughout his career, he was all over the pitch and totally deserted his main job of working alongside Alonso and providing protection to the back four, Alonso was on his own which allowed Gattuso, Kaka, Ssedorf and Pierlo run riot, Benitez dragged Gerrard out of the engine room and it was a toss up between Igor or Hamann to come on any would of been better which was proved as they stopped running through like the first half. I must just add Gerrard in the second half and extra time was absolutely outstanding especially when he filled in at full back. I hope I have answered your question and like I say leave the insults out, just ignore my posts if you don't like or agree with them, cheers mate..

So Suarez wins easily for me. Gerrard next as he could play anywhere and still be man of the match

Agree on both of these.

They were different players Torres was an out and out striker Suarez more an attacking playmaker Torres the rush Suarez the Beardsley however remember Liverpool bought them to play together then Torres decided to leave and the Carrol madness started. Torres and Suarez probably would have won us the league
