I think this is because he is lazy there is plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest this including the latest strange issues comment by Klopp and of course the several Liverpool professional players who very strongly hint at it. We are never going to receive a certitificate proving he is lazy and this is a site where you express opinions. Your own post above says such an assertion is insane then in your very next sentance assert its possible. At the end of the day what we do know for sure is he us a talent but has an extraordinary injury record and the medical team cannot find out what's wrong with him so much so they are no longer publicised but referred to as issues by the club. Surely any reasonable person must assume something is seriously wrong here ?

Bite West Hams bloody hand off, anything. Beyond a joke this now.
The lad is sadly showing that he is a serious hypochondriac unfortunately it seems.
Or perhaps he just doesn't like LFC? Who knows? Who knows what's going on in his head?
He's no use to us or anyone in this current state of NO play, that's for sure.
Just a massive drain on financial resources.

Talking of the possibility of transferring to WH.
Can a club actually sign a player that cannot pass a medical? crazy
Why would they anyway?
Financial suicide.

I think the answer to that is no but physically Sturridge is probably fine and so should pass the test if West Ham would give us £18m I volunteer to personally drive him there with padded cushions and bubble wrap of course in case he strains himself reaching for the glove compartment

That's all well and good but who comes in at this late stage of January that can get us the amount of goals we know he can score for the same money? We've been linked with Morata of Juve, a man who got 15 goals last season and only 1 this for £45m!! (yes , yes, I know. He's not playing so he isn't scoring before anyone jumps on that)

You know that whole theory about Daddy Long-Legs having the world's most powerful venom but not being able to use it?

Us having Sturridge.

Makes no sense. crazy

Just a rumour I reckon.

If he's genuinely injured (still/again), then no club in it's right mind would pay a big fee AND take on his wages. The only scenario I can think of that would make the West Ham link plausible is this: there is no current injury, west ham know this, and he simply wants to leave.

If Sturridge does simply want to leave and would go to west ham, then it is a very sad indictment of how far we have fallen as a 'power'. Very sad indeed.

He would be a good buy for a club with lots of money. Real Madrid could use him. They have plenty of superstars, so he would not need to play every game. When he does play he can produce the goods at any time it seems

you'd be surly too if you were injured all the time
