West Ham United swoop for Daniel Sturridge

West Ham United have made a late transfer deadline day bid for Daniel Sturridge, claim reports originating from London.

Nobody credible is touching on these claims but we thought we’d best give it a mention as a few of you are asking if there’s any truth to what’s being said.

The Hammers do have money to spend and they are under pressure to inject some new blood into their squad but an injury-prone Daniel Sturridge might not be enough to satisfy their fan base, although it would be a start.

talkSPORT pundit Micky Quinn seems to believe there’s some truth in the claims as far as to say that West Ham are interested in Sturridge, and we believe that too. However, we don’t expect to see Sturridge sold until the next transfer window comes round.
