Sadio Mané injury news

Earlier today we reported that Liverpool forward Sadio Mané had been taken to hospital after sustaining a shoulder injury following a collision at Melwood.

The 24-year-old underwent scans to determine the extent of the injury and returned to Melwood with his left arm in a sling.

At the end of this afternoon’s training session, Mané was able to drive himself home which is obviously a positive sign.

There’s no official news in relation to his present status but we’ll keep you posted.
