Sadio Mané taken to hospital

Liverpool new boy Sadio Mané has been taken to hospital after sustaining a shoulder injury during a training session at Melwood.

The £30million forward has undergone scans to assess the problem following a collision at Melwood this morning.

Meanwhile, winger Sheyi Ojo is facing a month out after a scan revealed he has suffered a fracture in his back.

The 19-year-old complained of discomfort following the tour of America with the medical team believing it was only a minor issue. However he has now been diagnosed with a small fracture.
