Philippe Coutinho should be back in action pretty soon after he and his manager Jürgen Klopp confirmed that the injury he sustained against Watford in the Premier League last night was not serious.
The 24-year-old had to be withdrawn from action only 15 minutes into the game following a challenge with Watford defender Adrian Mariappa. The Brazilian received treatment on his right thigh before coming off and was later seen with an ice pack strapped to his leg sparking fears he could miss a game or two.

However, after the game, Reds’ boss Klopp told reporters: “He has a dead leg, hopefully, it’s not too serious but of course it’s really painful and no chance [he could play on]. Everybody could see he tried hard, but no chance.”
Coutinho later posted a picture on Instagram with the text: “Thanks to all for the support. It isn’t serious.”
Liverpool are next in action against Southampton at Anfield on Sunday and providing there are no set-backs, Coutinho should make the squad.
