Naby Keïta, Liverpool’s incoming midfielder, was sent off during Leipzig’s German Cup clash with Bayern Munich last night after receiving two yellow cards.
It was the 22-year-old’s 3rd dismissal in 7 games in a period that stretches just over a month.

Keïta had previously been shown a straight red in a Bundesliga match against Borussia Monchengladbach and another straight red while on international duty with Guinea.
Bayern Munich went on to win last night’s match against Leipzig after winning a penalty shoot-out.
Liverpool triggered a £48million exit clause in Keïta’s contract during the summer and paid a premium believed to be as much as £7m to secure his signature for next year.
There are suggestions that Liverpool may try and bring that deal forward during the January transfer window.
