Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool transfer imminent

Mohamed Salah will undergo a medical with Liverpool tomorrow after A.S. Roma accepted a transfer offer in excess of £35million for the 25-year-old winger.

Both clubs have finally reached an agreement as to how that fee will be structured and everything is now in place for the player to complete his proposed transfer to Anfield.

It is believed that the player has expressed an interest in the vacant No. 9 shirt, previously worn by Christian Benteke. He wore No. 11 at Roma but that is currently taken by Roberto Firmino.

As reported this morning, Salah, who scored 15 goals in 31 league appearances with Roma last season, is due to land in the UK this evening.
