
Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott (above) is set to make his full debut for the Reds against MK Dons in the League Cup this evening.
The 16-year-old is in tonight’s squad along with 17-year-old centre-back Sepp van den Berg. The duo were recruited in the summer and both of them should figure.
17-year-old midfielder Leighton Clarkson, 18-year-old midfielder Luis Longstaff and 20-year-old midfielder Herbie Kane are included in the squad and are hoping to be selected for deployment.
Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher (20) and Rhian Brewster (19) will make their first senior starts for the Reds this evening. Supporters will also be hoping to see 17-year-old defender Ki-Jana Hoever given a start.

Midfielder Naby Keïta may make his return from a hip injury which he sustained last month. He is pencilled in and we expect him to be involved.
Xherdan Shaqiri is ruled out due to a minor calf tear. Sadio Mané hasn’t travelled to Milton Keynes due to the knock and dead leg he picked up against Chelsea. Alisson Becker (calf) and Divock Origi (ankle) are also unavailable.
MK Dons have no fresh injury concerns but are without Rhys Healey, Joe Mason, Ben Reeves, Baily Cargill and Jordan Moore-Taylor.
Tonight’s game is live on Sky Sports and BBC Radio 5 Live. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
