KOPTALK sources have informed us overnight that Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujić has suffered a new injury setback.
The 20-year-old midfielder returned to full training at Melwood earlier this month after nearly two months out with a hamstring tendon injury. It was then reported that he went on to miss several sessions due to fears that he had suffered a setback.

However, we are informed that the player has actually torn ligaments in his ankle following a training ground collision with Georginio Wijnaldum which Liverpool have allegedly “tried to keep quiet”. If that is the case, he is expected to be absent for at least another month.
KOPTALK sources also inform us that his agent had hoped that Grujić would have returned from his initial hamstring injury in time to secure a January loan move away from Anfield.
