Mamadou Sakho in London to secure Liverpool exit

Mamadou Sakho has been spotted in London with reports suggesting that he’s close to completing a transfer deadline day move to Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old Liverpool defender has been frozen out of Jürgen Klopp’s plans and Anfield officials are desperately trying to get him off the wage bill before tonight’s deadline.

Southampton, Spartak Moscow and Galatasaray have all registered an interest in the Frenchman but Crystal Palace appear to be favourites to secure his signature.

Liverpool want around £20million for him but they may have to accept a loan offer in the hope of securing a permanent deal in the summer.
