Mamadou Sakho is still being forced out of Liverpool Football Club despite apologising to Jürgen Klopp for breaching club rules.
The 26-year old defender, who has certainly been missed recently, admitted making mistakes during an interview in France but his apology hasn’t been enough to save his Anfield career with the boss having refused to u-turn on his decision to axe him.

Sakho, who also spoke at the pride of his children learning English and for being grateful for having the opportunity to bring his young family to England, will clear out his Melwood locker over the next 24 hours if Liverpool succeed in finding him a new club.
“It is true that I turned up late [to a team meeting],” admitted the Frenchman. “There was a rule that I should have observed. I do not at all see myself as above the rules, I respect everyone.
“I paid my fine, I was sanctioned, I apologised to my team-mates and my manager. Aside from that, I do not want to go into the controversies.”
He added: “I work a lot, I have the chance to train with the reserve team which allows me to keep fit. And besides that, I have my trainer. So I work a lot to stay on top of my game.”
Sakho is Liverpool’s highest paid defender unless, of course, you consider James Milner a defender and not a midfielder.
