Liverpool want £30million for Mamadou Sakho

Liverpool Football Club will be looking for a transfer fee in the region of £30million for Mamadou Sakho in the summer, claim well-placed sources.

Currently impressing on loan at Crystal Palace, the 27-year-old Frenchman won’t be returning to Anfield if the Liverpool hierarchy has anything to do with it.

Although valued at £20million in the summer, Kop bosses feel they could now achieve more due to the interest the player is attracting from across Europe.

Palace failed to secure a right-to-buy clause when they took him on loan which could come back to haunt them if they want to try and make the deal permanent.

If Liverpool do secure such a high fee, that will be a real boost for boss Jürgen Klopp who is expected to spend big in the summer.
