Liverpool table £30m transfer bid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool have tabled a £30million transfer bid for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The offer, which is £10million less than what Chelsea agreed with Arsenal for the 24-year-old midfielder, was immediately rejected by the Gunners.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will now have to wait and see if Liverpool return with a higher offer.

There is a suggestion that the Reds may wait until next summer to try and recruit him as he will then be available on a free transfer although we’re not so sure about that at the present time.
