Liverpool preparing for Philippe Coutinho exit – REPORTS

Reports originating from Spain claim that Liverpool are resigned to losing Philippe Coutinho this summer following months of speculation that the highly-rated Brazilian is wanted by Barcelona.

Although there is no suggestion that the player is actively looking for a move, it would be naive to think that his agent isn’t being approached and isn’t in contact with the Catalan outfit.

It is claimed that Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp will target Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder Isco as a replacement for Coutinho if he is forced into allowing him to leave.

The 25-year-old Isco, who is also wanted by Chelsea and Tottenham, has been linked with the Reds on-and-off for some time but interested suitors may soon be disappointed as it looks like he may be about to ink a new contract with the Bernabéu outfit after forcing his way back into Zinedine Zidane’s plans.

There are suggestions that Liverpool have held talks with Isco’s agents as recently as last week in the hope of hijacking a deal. However, it is worth noting the other clients that they represent. We’ll explain why in an extended version of this article later today for KopTalk Members.

KOPTALK sources believe Barcelona are interested in Coutinho but they’re not convinced that they would break the bank for him at the present time. A deal would have to be financially attractive to them and that, of course, would present a problem for Liverpool who would be looking for a huge fee if they had to accept that the player wanted to secure a dream move to the Nou Camp.

While Barcelona continue to be linked with Coutinho, only a fool would rule out Real Madrid having an interest in him, although it is widely accepted that he wants to link up with his boy Neymar if given the opportunity.
