Liverpool negotiating Sheyi Ojo loan deal

Liverpool are negotiating a possible loan deal with French outfit Stade de Reims for youngster Sheyi Ojo

The 21-year-old winger is wanted by the recently promoted Ligue One side and a deal could be in place before Friday’s European transfer deadline.

Stade de Reims officials claim that talks have progressed positively with their Liverpool counterparts and the Ojo camp who have also spoken to a number of Championship sides this summer.

Ojo had been tipped to sign for Aston Villa but a move there failed to materialise. West Brom has also registered an interest in Ojo who has previously been loaned to Fulham and Wolves.

Liverpool are also hoping to move out some additional players – the likes of Lazar Markovic and Pedro Chirivella for example – who are not in this season’s plans, before the window closes.
