Liverpool have been linked with Santos ace Rodrygo Goes, a player who has been dubbed ‘the new Neymar’.
According to reports originating from Spain, the 17-year-old is attracting attention from Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and ourselves.
Despite being unable to make a move until his 18th birthday which falls in January 2019, the suggestions are that clubs are lining up offers in the hope of securing his signature sooner rather than later.
A release clause of €50million (£43.45m) is mooted and European clubs would need to pay something close to that to assist in obtaining a work permit.
KOPTALK sources claim that Liverpool scouts in South America “are aware” of Rodrygo but are unable to comment further about our reported interest.
Capped 4 times by Brazil Under 17s, Rodrygo has been tipped to become a Brazilian superstar. Liverpool were also linked with another Brazilian yesterday.
