Liverpool to increase efforts to sign Christian Pulisic

Liverpool Football Club will increase their efforts to sign Christian Pulisic having lost Philippe Coutinho to injury, claim newspaper reports today.

The Borussia Dortmund starlet is, as we already know, on Jürgen Klopp’s radar but claims today suggest that the Liverpool manager will put an emphasis on signing the 18-year-old during the January transfer window.

Coutinho is due back in January but the player himself is targeting a return against Manchester City on December 31st so we so no reason why Klopp would now be flapping about trying to recruit Pulisic sooner.

KOPTALK sources have maintained that Pulisic is a player of interest and someone that Klopp would like to see brought in. However, if we did table a formal offer in January for him, then this would be because it was the manager’s intentions all along and not just because of the Coutinho injury setback.

Pulisic is under contract until 2019 and due to the ongoing interest in the youngster, Dortmund are keen to extend that as quickly as possible.
