Liverpool FC Transfer News: Sead Kolašinac – LATEST

Liverpool FC boss Jürgen Klopp remains interested in Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolašinac.

The 23-year-old left-back is out of contract at the end of the season and he is yet to sign an extension sparking interest from a number of European clubs.

Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel wants to retain Kolašinac but he has previously confessed that an exit looks likely.

As well as ourselves, Arsenal, Manchester City, AC Milan, AS Roma and Juventus are all said to be sniffing around him.

Alberto Moreno isn’t wanted by Klopp and his agent is currently trying to find him a move elsewhere. Midfielder James Milner is currently the club’s first choice left-back and ‘does a job’ when called upon. However, Klopp wants to strengthen that position and offering Kolašinac a contract makes sense.

We’ll have to wait and see with regards what happens but we would certainly advise you to monitor Kolašinac’s situation between now and the summer.
