Liverpool FC Transfer News: Philippe Coutinho – LATEST

Reports originating from Spain claim that Barcelona are willing to offer Liverpool Ivan Rakitić plus cash to try and secure a transfer for Philippe Coutinho this summer.

Speculation which suggests that the La Liga giants will table an offer for the Brazilian in the summer is increasing although Liverpool will, of course, maintain that he’s not for sale but few supporters will trust owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) if a fax comes in from the Nou Camp with enough digits on it.

It is claimed that Barcelona would include 29-year-old midfielder Ivan Rakitić in an offer but we’re not sure that would be of interest to Liverpool if Coutinho indicates that he would like to leave.
