
Transfer talks between Liverpool and A.S. Roma in relation to Mohamed Salad continue to stall with the Italians insisting that they want a fee in excess of £35million.
Liverpool were instructed to return with a far more lucrative offer after an initial £28million bid was rejected but as yet no fresh bid has been tabled.

Roma have been informed that we are now looking at alternatives which isn’t a bluff as the Reds have opened talks with Sporting Lisbon over their winger Gelson Martins. The 22-year-old has a release clause of £52.8million but Liverpool believe a more realistic fee can be negotiated.
Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa and Lazio winger Keita Balde have also been looked at by Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp.
