Leeds United linked with Liverpool striker

Leeds United have again been linked with a possible move for Liverpool striker Danny Ings.

The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries and has subsequently been unable to impress Jürgen Klopp despite him having been in the Liverpool hot-seat for 2 years.

Reports suggest that Leeds are looking at a possible January move for Ings. We can confirm their interest in him is genuine but we’re unsure if the Elland Road outfit would be willing to offer hard cash so we would expect them to test the water with an initial loan approach to sound Liverpool out.

It is mooted within Melwood that Klopp doesn’t see Ings as a long-term fixture at Anfield but the boss may be reluctant to let him leave mid-season especially with Daniel Sturridge looking as fit and prolific as a pensioner on viagra.

Ings is one of our favourite players. We’d be gutted to see him leave but truth be told, he would be an outstanding signing for Leeds if they could broker a deal.
