Lazar Markovic signs for Hull City – OFFICIAL

Lazar Markovic has joined Hull City on loan until the end of the season.

Sporting Lisbon had requested to cancel his season-long loan move with them and Liverpool agreed to, subject to finding him another club until the end of the season.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp took a look at him in the summer and wasn’t impressed with what he saw so the 22-year-old has, in theory, got until the end of the season to try and save his Anfield career.

Markovic, who started just two league games all season for Sporting, was signed by former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers in July 2014 for £20million.
