Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has spoken out to praise the progress that’s being made by Andy Robertson.
The 24-year-old Liverpool defender has established himself as a regular starter in Klopp’s team and has quickly become a fans’ favourite.
Last week he was appointed captain of Scotland and he led his country for the first time against Belgium in a friendly on Friday night but sadly that ended in a 4-0 defeat.

Popular with the fans and his team-mates alike, Robertson is also feeling the love from the boss.
Paying tribute to the £8million signing, Klopp said: “Andy is a fantastic fella. He is a very smart and nice person. He can be a leader in the future, 100 per cent.
“He made big steps in the last one-and-a-half years since we worked together. That’s really cool. He has made big steps in the last four or five years since he started his career. So it’s a nice story.
“He is still young but he is a leader already and he will be even better in that in the future.”
