Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has sanctioned the sale of Ragnar Klavan to Italian outfit Cagliari.
The 32-year-old is in the final year of his contract and a £2million offer was accepted by the Reds after Klopp give the green light. The Liverpool manager believes he has enough options to provide cover in defence despite injuries to Joël Matip and Dejan Lovren.

Academy youngster Nathaniel Phillips made a big impression during pre-season and that is believed to have played a part in the decision to allow Klavan to leave.
Klavan, who was signed from FC Augsburg for £4.2million in 2016, has headed off to Italy to finalise the deal.
He made 53 appearances for Liverpool and scored twice.
