Jordan Henderson injury update

Jordan Henderson looks set to pull out of the England squad due to injury. It is claimed that the Liverpool midfielder will miss the friendlies with Germany and Brazil due to his reported thigh problem.

The 27-year-old is receiving treatment on the injury but sources close to the club suggest that the player also has an additional issue that is troubling him.

A source on the KopTalk Members website posted last week that Henderson would miss international duty. They said: “I’m being reliably informed by my source that he will miss England’s games’ … [the] club aren’t overly concerned as it’s a ‘simple fix’ and are just being cautious more than anything else.”

The source added that Henderson requires “treatment on his heel which has flared up again. Hence why he has had less game time of late.”

Henderson missed Liverpool’s win over West Ham on Saturday.
