Juventus transfer talks

Juventus officials are reportedly hoping to sit down with Emre Can’s representatives in the next few days to finally secure the Germany international’s signature.

Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that the Italian outfit are pushing for a decision on whether or not the 24-year-old Liverpool midfielder will make a free transfer to The Allianz Stadium in the summer following what seems like years of ‘talks’ and ‘discussions’.

Can has refused to ink a new deal with Liverpool with well-placed sources claiming that’s due to a disagreement over an escape clause. However, the player has always maintained that he could still sign a new deal even at this stage but so far there’s been nothing.

Although it has been suggested by sources close to Anfield officials that the stand-off is over money, the player has always denied this.

It sounds like Juventus don’t want to start competing with other clubs for his signature and that they just want a decision one way or the other. Hopefully, it will all be resolved very soon because we’re sick of hearing about it.
