Dejan Lovren visits knee specialist

Dejan Lovren has visited a knee specialist in Germany to try and determine what has kept him out of Liverpool’s last couple of games.

The 27-year-old centre-back missed games against Hull City and Tottenham Hotspur along with last week’s warm weather training camp in La Manga, Spain due to the knee problem.

As yet, Lovren hasn’t been ruled out of Liverpool’s next Premier League game away to champions Leicester City on Monday but there are obviously some concerns surrounding his fitness and it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he missed that game too.

Hopefully, the matter will be resolved soon as Liverpool need him back in the heart of the defence to help maintain that push for a top 4 finish, once again.
