Daniel Sturridge looks set to sit out Liverpool’s game against West Ham on Sunday.
The 27-year-old still hasn’t returned to training due to a calf injury which prevented him from traveling to Spain with the rest of the squad earlier this week. Despite remaining behind, Sturridge has been unable to make significant progress and is expected to sit out the game at Anfield.

Sturridge, who has only started 4 league games this season, sustained the injury following the 0-0 draw at Southampton last month.
The news is a blow for Reds’ boss Jürgen Klopp who is also unable to call on Philippe Coutinho and Danny Ings for the match.
Midfielder Adam Lallana should return to the starting XI after making his comeback as a substitute at Bournemouth.
