Mo Salah and Andy Robertson remain doubts for Liverpool’s trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The Liverpool duo are undergoing rehabilitation at Melwood on their respective ankle injuries. Neither player has been ruled out as yet but the word from Melwood this afternoon is that the club’s medical staff aren’t hopeful as things currently stand. The pair will continue to be assessed in time for the game at Palace and hopefully things will become clearer later in the week.
Despite question marks remaining over those two, defender Joe Gomez is winning his battle to be fit for the Premier League fixture despite withdrawing from the England squad with a knee injury. The 22-year-old was involved for England against Montenegro on Thursday night but missed England’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo on Sunday following a training ground collision with Kieran Trippier.
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson also missed the game against Kosovo due to illness and he is currently resting.

Xherdan Shaqiri and Nathaniel Clyne are out due to their various injury problems while it remains to be seen whether Joel Matip will be available having missed a number of games due to a knee problem.
Palace have doubts over forward Wilfried Zaha and defender Joel Ward. Zaha injured his foot during their last game against Chelsea while Ward also reported some discomfort in his groin. Both players will be assessed at the end of the week.
Seven players were called up from Palace for international duty and none of them have collected any knocks so far, although there are a few games remaining before the international break concludes.
