Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho deadline passes

Barcelona’s deadline to Liverpool to accept their last offer for Philippe Coutinho expired at 7 pm last night.

The Catalan outfit made contact with the Reds by email over the weekend stating that they would withdraw their last offer if Liverpool hadn’t accepted it by last night’s deadline which is quite funny as Liverpool had already rejected it.

Liverpool refused to be bullied into a sale and a very unhappy Coutinho will be forced to stay at Anfield unless something changes before the end of the month.

Here in Spain today the press are reporting that a deal for Coutinho now looks impossible while Spanish pundit Guillem Balague claims Barcelona have now ended their interested in the Brazilian.

Barcelona are now looking at Jean Michaël Seri, Ousmane Dembélé and Ángel Di María.
