Adam Lallana out for a month

Adam Lallana will be out of action for around a month after sustaining a thigh injury while on international duty with England.

The Liverpool midfielder didn’t train at Melwood today and has immediately been ruled out of Sunday’s Merseyside derby against Everton.

Lallana played just over an hour against Germany on Wednesday and then 90 minutes against Lithuania on Sunday.

There’s no official confirmation of his status at the moment but that should come soon.
