£30million Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge

The latest suggestions coming out of Anfield are that Daniel Sturridge will only be granted a January exit from the club if someone steps up with an offer of £30million for him.

With a World Cup almost upon us, the 28-year-old hitman is believed to be pushing for a move in the hope of securing a place in the final England squad for the tournament.

However, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp isn’t willing to do business unless someone offers hard cash. Instead, he is looking at loaning out striker Danny Ings with Leeds United and Newcastle United having both registered an interest in him following his return from injury.

West Ham are believed to be interested in signing Sturridge who only has 18 months left on his lucrative Anfield contract.

Valencia and Real Betis have also been linked.
