Ive got a theory that Lucas was in fact a test tube baby and that a man from Leitrem (which is in Ireland) donated his sperm which was then shipped out to Brazil where Mammy Lucas popped out the useless Lucas we know and hate.

My head drops in dispair each time I see Lucas play. I don`t think I`ve seen him play a decent game yet. I appreciate he is young and came with potential, but he`s not delivered on any of the numerous occasions Rafa has entrusted him with the shirt. Would playing Spearing be any worse? I doubt it very much. If he wanted to go, let him and put the money towards getting Silva?

There is no point giving him another year if he wants out. If it is truely the case then let him go and bring in someone who wants to be here.

He needs to look at the facts. He didn't get much of a run last season because one of the best midfield pairings in the premiership were in front of him. If he can't see that, he is a bit daft.

don't think it'll happen this season lads. Lucas has a good chance of starting the early games of the season, at least until Aquilani makes an appearance. Be interesting to see if he has improved...

maybe if this season doesn't show much improvement he'll then move on.

Definitely rafa's love child.Thing is,it's gonna be to late to buy a replacement if it's not sorted sharpish.We really need a winger & a striker.Torres can't do it all on his own.

He won't go this transfer period. He will be assessed mid season and then let go if he doesn't show improvement.

Whatever it is (going out or improving his game), Lucas need to do it and do it FAST...

I agree that it needs to happen fast but from what Rafa has sadi he is really stepping up. I think we need to give him a chance to show that he has improved. (cue Emp...... )
