He had a good world cup - took the p*ss out of the Danes as I remember it.

Not too sure he's a 'track-back-and-defend-from-the-front' kind of player. And he definitely wouldn;t be the guy the players would all automatically pass to as happens with Japan. But would be an upgrade on the Yossi / Joe Cole link player.

12M Euro sounds like it's worth a punt

For 12m euro's he'd be a great signing! The flanks and up front is where we need more match winners and this guy is one! Get Benzama or Gervinho as well and we'll be on our way.

he would definitely give us more options. if we were to sign id expect to see babel/jovanovic shipped out. would make perfect sense to sign a player like honda as well as being a good player it would surely have commercial benefits too

Honda looks a great player. The sort we should be looking at. Hope the Cisse rumours aren't true. He could've been good for us but for the leg breaks but never really consistent enough for me. I suppose he was played out on the right a bit though in true Rafa style.

Agree mate - I'm sure NESV would see the commercial benefits in the far east if we went for Honda.
