If we keep Roy as manager I dont see any way in the world that we can keep Torres, Reina etc.. and who could blame them as we will do nothing with a manager stuck in the dark ages who considers Liverpool getting outfootballed by every team we play as the norm.

Age has nothing to do with it, hench why 16 year olds or 37 year olds play at the top level sometimes. It's down to ability and a manager who recognises that talent and then PLAYS THEM. That's why Robbie Fowler was given a go so young, and Owen, and why McCallister was bought and played at his great age, because of their ability and that the manager at the time saw it and gave them a chance. If Pacheco isn't even on the bench, then he has no chance to develop. So you are telling me that Konchesky and Poulson have more talent than Pacheco and deserve a start yet he doesn't deserve a bench place? You are truly a complete idiot.

Yes I believe Konchesky is a better left back than Pacheco.

Yes I believe Poulsen is a better defensive midfielder.

Owen and Fowler got their chance because they were good enough.

Pacheco clearly isnt. Hence why Rafa and his coaching staff didnt pick him. Hence why Roy and his coaching staff havent picked him.

Are you frustrated because you clearly know more that our current manager and the previous one but just havent had the chance to show the world what you've got other than play football manager?

Do you trust his judgement over Barceloa's coaches who were livid at us taking him from them? Do you trust his judgement over the Spanish Under 17's, 18's, and 19's, plus their manager?

And it was never an issue or types of player or position. The argument I put forth was ability and who deserved to play. You obviously think a Konchesky or Poulson with their limited ability deserve to play yet a talanted player like Pacheco doesn't even warrant a place on the bench.

You can't compare Pacheco with Konchesky & pouslen in the way they play..

But you can look at them and think, how does it make sense that Hodgson is prepared to field that shiite but not pacheco?

Like fowler78 said Pacheco has won awards that show his talent & ability has been recognised and he's shown it in a tournament for his country, but Hodgson thinks that pacheco isn't good enough?
