well cos i am a dreaded out of towner,i live in cornwall so the team i have followed as a 2nd team is plymouth argyle.they are in devon but most of the support comes from cornwall.the city is the biggest in england not to have a premiership club.argyle is a club that an investor would see massive benifits from, the catchment area is huge in the 90's they got promotion via the play-off final at wembely they took nearly 40k fans.unfortunatly due to the fact they never have any money and signings are small they never get a good regular crowd.with a decent investor the club would flourish.funny thing is.is that if we get the world cup in 2018 a 40k seater stadium will be built in plymouth.
I have nothing but respect and admiration for any person who supports there local Club especialy unfashionable ones, in a world where fans attatch themselves to a club just because of fame or success. I find it amazing a fan of say Plymouth, Scunthorpe or Rotherham can travel all over the country supporting there club and spending money when they can just as easily pick a Liverpool United or Chelsea to support like many fans now do, fair play to them for supporting there local club which represents where there from coz lets face it where would football be if everyone just picked the biggest and best clubs to support like alot of people now do.
