No true fan can want him to start against Man Sh1tty next Monday - De Jong will have him for breakfast. Personlly I would start with Torres and Ngog - Spurs got at them with two front men, and only Hart kept them in the game.
One of previous posts was correct in saying that he has hardly played but too me when he has played he looks 'pretty' but certainly seems to lack a level of toughness for PL - could be wrong and would loved to be proved so but I just think that he is lightweight - let's see how he goes in Europa Cup at home on decent pitch as opposed to judging what happened in Macadamia.
Its worth comparing him to Modric at spurs, great reputation when he came to PL, was pooh pooh in his first season and was great last year, fingers crossed eh????
I think he is average, if Roy liked him he would be in the starting 11. If your good you can play in any team straight away, just look at Alonso when he joined. Wonder if Real Madrid would do a swap...Lucas and Aqualani for Alonso?
