Hopefully Gerrard continues in the middle and regans the form he once had when he would whip 40 yard passes and precise shooting, pairing our captain with Lucas or Poulsen. Surely Roy has plans for the Italian, and hope he knows the talent hes got in Aqua, playing him behind the striker in an exact swap with Cole. Agree?

Although aquaman probably deserves another season to prove himself,tbh theres not alot about him that fills me with confidence that he's gonna cut it.

Another season? You must be confused, he barely got one season in the first place, with Rafa playing him in the last 30 seconds of every game. He was gaining form at the end of the Europa League season, scored a goal in the 2nd leg against Atletico in the semis and we were all deligthed with him. He deserves a fresh start, a proper one be that.
