We got rid of Rafa at teh right time.....he almost ruined the club with his selfishness, the season we finished second we should of walked the league except he was so negative against smaller teams at home, the amount of draws we had against poor teams at Anfield was a disgrace!!! He was a lucky manager, lucky to win the champs league and FA cup...did [oops] all else good, wasted money on utter [oops], i know Degen was free but i read he was on 3mill a year in wages, Rafa spent a fortune on youth and then never played them and let Chris Buttcham leave on afree when he was rated as one of the top ten youngsters to watch out for in Europe by FIFA!! The list of things he did go on.....got rid of STeve Heighway, demoralised the players. The very least he can do is come back with 20 odd million and take that snake Javier Savage or Robbie Mascherano whatever his name is and take him to Italy with him!!

Think the interest is cooling off on Masch.....i see Maicon is staying at inter acording to sky sports so rafas budget has been hit for transfers

If he doesn't move this summer which appears to be more likely than ever before what 'influence' will his atittude and 'committment' have on the squad and further would he be in your starting eleven against the Gunners??

Personally I have a real concern as he has been exceptionally quiet and has not made (to my knowledge) any public statements stating that if he doesn't get reunited with Rafa then he still owes LFC agreat deal for the resurgence of his fledging (at WHU) career.

I just hope that we get an offer even if it is a little less than our expectations, say 18-20 mil, as I can't see his presence being all that positive - but he is a professional on huge wages so maybe he is big enough to knuckle down but I still wonder.....

There is no need to wonder as he did the same thing at the beginning of last season & now we know why he was crap at first. If he stays he will knuckle down & be one of our best players & I am confident he will do it again.

The only problem will be is when the "fans" start having a go cos he is "not committed"

think if he does stay and he dont play well, i'd like to think roy would drop him and not just keep picking him because he is argies captain

Masch's agent is sweet talking Barca now that Inter have apparently done one, apparently Hleb is being touted as part of the deal, I would take 17-20m + Hleb, be very happy with that.
