i dont believe anything until it happens, so at this point i dont agree it will happen. People are making up to many misconceptions without even having a clue , its a joke really. People need to just sit back and relax and see what happens then we will make our judgements , until then theres no point bitching

i have no problem with bringing through the youth. the only problem is it will take time for them to find there feet and its weather fans are prepared for them to be given time. Like they may be really good next season but just ok this.

I agree Troy but you have to wonder where some of these stories come from.

Nice president Gilbert Stellardo says Liverpool will jump to the head of the queue for Loic Remy if they match West Ham's offer.

The Hammers have matched Nice's €10million (£8.4m) asking price for the 23-year-old, but their instalment proposal is not to the club's liking.

Stellardo says the club are happy with the value of West Ham's offer, although Liverpool will be in pole position should they match their rival's bid.

Nice have no qualms cashing in on the France international, but insist they will require all the money up front and will not settle for an instalment plan.

Remy is one of France's hottest properties having scored 15 goals in 33 appearances last season and Tottenham are also rivalling Liverpool and West Ham for his services.
Status quo

"For the moment it's the same status quo, but if Liverpool make an offer things will be done swiftly," he told L'Equipe.

"The amount (offered by West Ham) suits me but not the payment method.

"West Ham want to buy Loic because they think he could rapidly be worth €10million more if he plays in England. They don't want us to pay the full sum all at once."

Meanwhile, Real have swooped to land Di Maria's countryman Juan Lescano after the youngster failed to secure a work permit at Liverpool.

The 17-year-old striker has penned a four-year contract in the Spanish capital and admits he cannot wait to join up with his new employers.

"At Liverpool people like (Javier) Mascherano and (Emiliano) Insua helped me a lot, but after the legal problems this is a big opportunity for me," said Lescano.

Real's scouting network has suggested that Lescano could be the 'new Didier Drogba' and they have high hopes for the talented teenager.

I would like Capedevilla but since he won the world cup i think he would be valued at 10M atleast. I'm very curious who will come in at leftback. Not many decent leftbacks around.

Its hard to find decent left backs. Warnock should be a good option. But i would like Fábio Coentrão, but he might cost us alot of money

Sky are now reporting that another 'major' PL Club have tabled an interest in Remy - may be a load of [oops] with agent beating him up again to put pressure on us to finalise the deal. I hope we do get him as he seems such an exciting and positive option that would give us another edge up front - I friggin hate the waiting game in these times of agents and tabloid madness!!!
