Had to read that story - "Phil Thompson" and "wise words" are not normally seen together in the same sentence

Think we need to be a bit more realistic with some of these signings Muller and Schweinsteiger are not going to come to a club like Liverpool now are they. If they do leave there clubs they are going to be able to sign for bigger and better Clubs than Liverpool who can offer them Champions league football and a brighter future, people might not like it but thats the facts and we need to get used to them.

too much, too old for £20m plus and hes said he wants to stay in spain because he has nothing to prove in the premiership.

imo he does, cos he was a bit sh*t for united, but hes a truly class player and has been amazing ever since he left.

just a quick update on Joe Cole's odds on skybet, they were 1/4 now they're 4/11!!!

apparently Jan Klaas Hunterlaar has alerted liverpool, tottenham and man united stating he will leave the club if he doesnt get first team football...

thoughts? decent striker isnt he. i havent seen a great deal of him though

i'd sign him, obviously depends on the fee but there's no doubting the guys got ability (in my opinion).
