Muller and schweinsteiger have been bloody awesome.....swede u surely gonna have a better info about their prices thingy...

i quite like Gyan, he works hard in that lone striker role but to spend £20m on a player like him is a bit silly and a major risk imo. he just isnt prolific enough, he has showed signs of a big physical player who could possibly cut it in the prem, but as a first choice striker i reckon he would be out of his depth. i think 2 of his goals were penalties anyway the goal he scored against USA was class though. its potentially got el hadj diouf written all over it. no thanks, there are more important areas to spend our money on.

i was away for 10 days myself so missed a lot. when it comes to the price tags on muller and shweinsteiger i would say £20-25m for muller and £25-30 for schweini...the later seems to be on his way to chelsea.

as for boateng im not too sure, i agree with emp didnt really do much at pompey but he has had a good world cup. £7m is a bit steep. ghana didnt really face any world class opposition in the tournament, germany yea and uruguay are a good side but have over done their expectations.

as for el zhar i think it would be best for both the player and our club if he did go, wish him all the best. he showed some signs of being a decent little winger 2 seasons ago, somewhat of a super sub for us at times. never really took his chance though and i dont think he will ever be good enough to play for us.

We are rumored to be offering him £100k a week, the only thing he is worried about it leaving london for liverpool, but come on, £100k a week can buy you a semi attached house in norris green, 2 weeks wages and you could buy a house in runcorn, then in about 6-7 weeks you could buy a house in formby near gerrard

Plus your selling you either give your house to your family in london or sell it, you clearly have money in the bank anyway been playing at chelsea for about 5 years :L

100k is far too much for Joe Cole even if he was a free. Lets say he gets paid for 40 weeks, i dont know how the system works but thats 4million a year over maybe a 3 year contract? thats 12m. Too much i must say. I would give him 60k max.
