I don't think it is the money, it his wife she can't settle in england and feels isolated. no matter what your family comes first.
Little Luis left for the same reason (nearly cried that day, love the little blighter). I think he needs a new wife. I here there are some good ones they ssend by mail from Russia nowdays. They cook, clean, fetch the beer and more often than not just shut up and suck you off.

I bet these fans who call him the best holding midfielder in the world must feel embarrassed with themselves now after such foolish comments. behind essien, he still probably is though mate. not the best passer of the ball but if he was playing alongside someone other than lucas who can pass it would go unoticed. as for reverting back to 4-4-2... i cant see it happening myself. this is modern day football, roy knows that, you can't field that formation anymore against a side playing 4-2-3-1 englands 4-1 defeat to germany proves that, we were outnumbered in midfield, got caught out far too often trying to pick ozil up, whenever schweinsteiger got forward he had all the time in the world.

I think its not just Essien he is behind though, In my opinion he is behind Xavi and Alonso also and dare I say it although a better tackler he is behind Michael Carrick as an all round player too. The modern defensive midfielder has to be able to do more than just tackle he needs to be able to dictate the tempo of the game, start attacks, pass the ball well and pop up with a few goals an am afraid the Argentine does'nt do any of this apart from tackle a poor man's David Batty in my book.

Masch should swap his wife for Eto'o or Schnider and then we will know he has commited his future to Liverpool.

I would gladly sell him not like we are losing a match winner for me he played his best games were in tight champs league ties, people talk about selling kuyt and yes he is not amazing but he would die for the club if we were linked to kuyt now we would be well up for it he has been superb all tournament for holland masch should remember he could not play for west ham when we signed him .....
