Hi Guys,

I would like to know the reallity about Mr. Masacherano.

I have read that he would love to live in Barcelona, days later I read that Rafael Benitez“s style is his way of playing football.

Today I have read in EL MUNDO DEPORTIVO: (http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/gen/20100...mascherano.html) that Barcelona is interested again.

I am a little bit sick about the situation.

The main question is DOES HE NKOW WHAT HE WANTS??

i hope he goes, foreign players have no loyalty to Liverpool and why should they?

lets hope Roy brings in some good english players.

He doesn't know what he wants until the wife tells him. The bloke should grow a pair in my opinion.

He needs to go and the sooner he does the better.

Good neews for us is the fact that 2 clubs seem interested in him, so we should get good money for him.

I just hope Roy sees all of it though.

I am sure he wants to go. Therefore, the probability is, he will.

From his point of view he'll probably choose the club which gives him the best financial reward, all other things being equal.

From ours, if he goes to Inter we may get Cambiasso in part ex. Past his best, of course, but no slouch.

Its not his mind that needs to be made up, its all these journalists trying to guess what he will do. They are now saying he will hand in a transfer request. I wonder if Masch is thinking this as well?

I am sick of hearing the press banging on about this, if he wants to leave, let him leave. Even though he is one of are best players, he has never struck me as being commited to the club. We could get a good sum of money from him and add to the squad. Replace him with Banega, get a decent left back in Maynor Figueroa, a good left winger in Arda Turan and a very good striker in either Ruiz or Kiessling, we are sorted. Oh, and possibly Joe Cole.

Let the little man go. does a good job, but a job that doesnt need to be done at a club like ours. he sums up rafas way of playing. negatively: defence before attack.

I like your train of thought. We need to get back to the old days of attacking football

the transfer funds for the sale of masch (if roy is allowed to spend it) can be the key to success for this season

i think mascherano is a fantastic player, but i agree with you all... if he doesnt want to stay then f*ck him, this speculation was rife last season. my old man always says no player is bigger than liverpool football club and he is exactly right.
